Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and implementation of the company's flagship 2026 Platform, ensuring zero-latency performance and predictive scalability.
- Define and enforce technical standards for microservices, cloud-native infrastructure, and edge computing deployments.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate futuristic requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Conduct deep-dive research into emerging technologies (e.g., Neuromorphic Computing, Generative AI) and pilot their integration into our core stack.
- Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and risks in the development lifecycle, proposing proactive solutions to ensure 99.99% uptime.
- Represent Horizon Systems in industry conferences as a thought leader in 2026 technology trends.
Qualifications
- Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (PhD preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in senior software architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in designing distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Deep understanding of AI/ML model deployment and infrastructure, specifically in the context of future-ready frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time and within budget.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
