Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with emerging technological and societal trends
- Analyze disruptive technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite on 2026 market landscapes
- Design patent-worthy innovation frameworks at the intersection of biotech and AI
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify 2026-relevant startup acquisition targets
- Produce monthly trend briefings on geopolitical, environmental, and tech convergence points
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype 2026-ready products and services
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging technology roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, or bio-engineering
- Proven track record of developing multi-generational technology roadmaps
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ societal impacts of technology
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures Studies)
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Analysis)
- Strong network with DARPA, IEEE Future Directions, or similar futurist communities
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
