Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Architect strategic roadmaps for next-gen AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and business leaders
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for exponential technology adoption
- Present visionary insights to C-suite and key stakeholders quarterly
- Mentor junior futurists and build innovation pipelines
- Collaborate with MIT and Stanford research labs on future studies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning abilities
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Science, or related field
- Published thought leadership in top-tier innovation journals
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R preferred)
- Experience securing $1M+ innovation grants or funding
