Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and data scientists in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging trends with 3-5 year market impact
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate R&D
- Oversee pilot programs for emerging technologies with client co-creation
- Drive sustainability metrics into all 2026 product architectures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation, strategy, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of delivering future-focused roadmaps (post-2025)
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFS, WFS) or equivalent strategic foresight training
- Experience scaling high-impact technical initiatives across global teams
- Strong network within Austin's tech ecosystem or Silicon Valley
- Published thought leadership in emerging technology or innovation strategy
- Master's degree in relevant field (PhD preferred)
