Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, climate tech) to identify 2026-defining opportunities
- Develop 'Future Roadmaps' for enterprise clients in finance, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT/Caltech research partners
- Author thought leadership for World Economic Forum and Nature Futures journal
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Curate annual '2026 Vision Summit' with 200+ global futurists
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from NSF and DARPA
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or Emerging Tech (required)
- 5+ years at McKinsey/BCG/LEK with futures/strategy specialization
- Published work in Harvard Business Review or Future Studies Journal
- Proficiency in Trendalyzer, Palantir, and GPT-4 predictive analytics
- Deep expertise in at least two: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- UN Sustainable Development Goals certification (SDG Impact)
- Fluency in Mandarin/Spanish for APAC/LATAM market expansion
- Portfolio of 3+ implemented 10-year strategic forecasts
