Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, social, economic, and environmental domains to identify 2026+ opportunities and threats
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for organizational resilience and competitive advantage
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-oriented innovation priorities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed future-readiness into development lifecycles
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurism roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes or policy frameworks
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Palisade, Trendalyzer) and data visualization platforms
