Responsibilities
- Analyze global macro-trends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, biotech, and emerging digital ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future business models
- Present foresight insights to executive stakeholders and boards with compelling data narratives
- Establish FutureWorks as a thought leader through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry forums
- Build and lead a dedicated futurist team to sustain long-term strategic foresight capabilities
- Partner with product and engineering teams to embed future-readiness into core offerings
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or executive leadership with tech-forward organizations
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and their commercial implications
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable strategic recommendations
- Track record of successfully implementing future-oriented strategies with measurable ROI
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published research or thought leadership on 2025+ industry transformations
