Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030 landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making and risk mitigation
- Architect cross-functional innovation roadmaps integrating emerging tech with human-centric design principles
- Partner with R&D to prioritize R&D investments in exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Deliver executive foresight briefings and publish thought leadership in industry whitepapers
- Establish global stakeholder ecosystems with academic institutions, startups, and policy think tanks
- Mentor cross-divisional teams in futures-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research at Fortune 500/tech scale
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex futures concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFAP, WFS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futures research or strategic frameworks implemented at scale
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term technology disruption and adaptation strategies
