Responsibilities
- Develop predictive models and scenario analyses for technological and societal trends through 2026
- Design innovation frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state strategies
- Produce trend reports and strategic briefs for executive decision-making
- Identify and vet partnership opportunities in emerging ecosystems
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts impacting innovation landscapes
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or futurist role with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proven experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for disruptive technologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating trend prediction accuracy (2019-2025)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
