Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends and technological disruptions to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technology adoption across business verticals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Produce high-impact scenario planning documents for executive decision-making
- Represent the company at global forums on future-focused technologies and methodologies
- Mentor junior futurists to cultivate next-generation strategic thinking capabilities
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, emerging technology analysis, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFP, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020+ predictions and strategic implementations
