Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data to identify paradigm-shifting technologies with 2026 commercial viability
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating emerging tech into enterprise ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (e.g., quantum-secured AI, climate-positive materials)
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Curate annual '2026 Innovation Summit' featuring global thought leaders
- Secure patents for breakthrough methodologies in predictive foresight
- Mentor junior futurists through our Emerging Tech Fellowship program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or equivalent interdisciplinary field
- 5+ years experience in technology strategy or innovation consulting
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or patented foresight methodologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into executable business strategies
- Certification in Horizon Scanning or Strategic Foresight (e.g., WFS, APF)
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental innovation initiatives
