Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and their 2026 market impact
- Develop scenario-planning models for 5-year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, policy, and design teams
- Produce trend briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities in 10+ global markets
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on horizon-scanning initiatives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Published research on future trends (peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers)
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Track record advising Fortune 500 on 5+ year strategic pivots
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in AI-driven trend analysis tools (e.g., Palantir, Gartner Cortex)
- Security clearance or willingness to obtain for classified briefings
