Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026+
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for long-term strategic initiatives across product development and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into executable innovation roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and whitepapers for executive stakeholders and industry thought leadership
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers
- Advise leadership on investment priorities in emerging technologies and future-proof business models
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic indicators influencing the 2026 technological landscape
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced technology planning
- Proven track record of developing future-oriented strategies with measurable business impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (preferred)
- Experience with data-driven forecasting tools and quantitative analysis frameworks
