Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze technological, societal, and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop evidence-based strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities
- Author high-impact foresight reports influencing executive decision-making and investor communications
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Identify whitespace opportunities for disruptive innovation and competitive moat creation
- Present visionary insights to boards and C-suite with compelling data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent with 8+ years foresight experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into successful commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, synthetic biology) and adoption curves
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism/tech strategy (whitepapers, journals, keynotes)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term innovation roadmaps
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives launched to market
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi, STEEP analysis)
