Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech) and societal shifts impacting 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with organizational vision and market opportunities
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives to prepare for future disruptions
- Establish KPI frameworks to measure innovation ROI and track emerging technology adoption curves
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and investment teams to prioritize future-focused initiatives
- Deliver executive briefings and thought leadership on future technology trends
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, Web3, quantum computing, neuromorphic computing)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in technology, business, futures studies, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or future scenarios
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and trend analysis tools
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) preferred
