Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year innovation roadmap targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough solutions
- Identify strategic partnerships and investment opportunities in future-focused startups
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to anticipate 2026 societal and technological shifts
- Drive patent development and intellectual property strategy for next-gen innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, product development, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with $10M+ revenue impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or Futurism
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) preferred
- Experience securing R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
