Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical discovery and climate modeling
- Architect hybrid cloud-native quantum computing platforms
- Lead cross-functional teams across quantum physics, software engineering, and materials science
- Establish quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Pioneer quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years experience with quantum gate-level design and quantum error correction
- Expertise in superconducting qubit systems or topological quantum computing
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum architecture or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum development frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
