Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm optimization and hardware-software integration
- Establish quantum security frameworks for enterprise applications
- Partner with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Drive quantum adoption strategies for healthcare, finance, and logistics sectors
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants and partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of quantum computing experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or scalable architectures
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware-software integration projects
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms
- Experience securing federal research grants (NSF, DOE, DARPA)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
