Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends, technological breakthroughs, and socio-cultural shifts to inform strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario-based forecasts for 2026+ market landscapes, identifying both opportunities and disruption risks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable product development and innovation initiatives
- Author high-impact thought leadership publications and present findings at industry conferences and board meetings
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging threats and disruptive technologies
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Maintain a dynamic knowledge base of emerging technologies and their potential societal impacts
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex future concepts into stakeholder narratives
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations or published foresight work
- Experience with foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with minimal guidance
