Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop scenario-based strategic models for climate adaptation and human augmentation technologies
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation portfolios with long-term market evolution
- Produce high-impact futures reports using predictive analytics and trend synthesis methodologies
- Curate cross-functional workshops with MIT Media Lab, Stanford HAI, and Singularity University
- Advise product teams on ethical implementation of neuro-interfaces and quantum AI
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight with proven impact in tech forecasting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals or top-tier tech publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 2020s technology commercialization strategies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom ML models)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into executive action plans
