Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech integration
- Identify emerging tech trends and competitive threats through global intelligence networks
- Present strategic recommendations to the board with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Manage R&D budget allocation for futuristic projects with multi-year horizons
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design thinking and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in futurism or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed tech journals
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks and technology forecasting
- Strong executive communication skills with board-level presentation experience
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
