Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing and AI integration
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying emerging tech trends with 3-5 year market impact
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-machine collaboration
- Present strategic vision to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Coordinate with academic partners to accelerate commercialization of research breakthroughs
- Manage innovation incubator programs for early-stage 2026 technologies
- Author white papers and thought leadership positioning Horizon as industry futurists
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or emerging tech
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- Expertise in quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, or sustainable AI
- Published thought leader with speaking engagements at major tech conferences
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Experience managing R&D budgets exceeding $50M
- Deep understanding of global regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Certification in Futures Methodology (e.g., CFS from Association of Professional Futurists)
