Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level strategic decision-making
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and market position papers
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging disruptors and black swan events
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
- Represent the company at global innovation summits and industry forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations
- Published thought leadership in foresight or strategy publications
- Certification in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
