Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks through trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions and market opportunities
- Present future intelligence to executive leadership and stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Integrate future insights into product roadmaps, corporate strategy, and investment decisions
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Mentor junior futurists and build a high-impact foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, Technology, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating future insights into revenue-generating initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trend analysis
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or innovation roadmaps
- Experience with foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, horizon scanning)
