Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with measurable KPIs
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-secure blockchain architectures
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through compelling investor presentations
- Author thought leadership publications in Nature Technology and IEEE Spectrum
- Mentor a team of 12 futurist researchers in emerging tech domains
- Present quarterly progress to C-suite and board of directors
Qualifications
- PhD in Computational Physics, Bioengineering, or equivalent field
- 10+ years experience in emerging tech commercialization
- Published research in quantum machine learning or synthetic neural networks
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures to $100M+ valuation
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep knowledge of DARPA and NSF funding ecosystems
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
