Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for breakthrough technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) with 2026+ commercial viability
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligning with company vision and market trends
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate next-gen innovations
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with academic institutions and startups
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across product development and customer solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Computer Science, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching successful technology initiatives with measurable ROI
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing technology investment decisions
- Strong network within global innovation ecosystems and tech research communities
