Responsibilities
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps for 2026+ implementation
- Lead R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and bio-integrated systems
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence for emerging tech sectors
- Collaborate with product teams to translate future concepts into viable solutions
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and industry stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on tech evolution trends
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging technologies and foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in tech R&D with demonstrable 2026+ innovation projects
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of published research in peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
