Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives to prototype next-generation solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends and forecast market impacts for strategic planning
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation with business objectives
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling investment proposals
- Mentor a team of 15+ researchers and engineers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years' experience
- Proven track record in launching breakthrough technologies (3+ major innovations)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier-1 publications
- Experience securing $10M+ in venture capital or corporate funding
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming frameworks
- Exceptional strategic communication skills with executive stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating scalable technology commercialization
