Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 technology strategy aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with 10+ year commercialization potential
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research laboratories
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory developments affecting future technologies
- Mentor junior futurists through our Technology Leadership Academy
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or neurotech
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on technology transformation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
