Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech paradigms (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities
- Present strategic technology forecasts to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Manage relationships with venture partners and academic institutions for R&D collaborations
- Author thought leadership publications on future technology trends
- Drive organizational adoption of futuristic technologies through change management initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in forecasting market trends and translating them into actionable strategies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Published author or speaker at major tech conferences (CES, Web Summit, etc.)
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to global implementation
