Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 Technology Roadmap, identifying emerging trends such as AGI, quantum computing, and advanced neural networks.
- Lead architectural reviews to ensure system scalability, security, and performance for next-gen applications.
- Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to define technical strategy and translate business goals into technical requirements.
- Conduct deep-dive research and due diligence on emerging technologies, providing clear recommendations for adoption or avoidance.
- Mentor senior engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and thought leadership forums.
- Establish metrics for technology adoption and measure the impact of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or product strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic capacity.
- Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate complex concepts into actionable roadmaps.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical vision to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams through periods of rapid growth and technological change.
- Relevant advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
