Nebula Digital is seeking a visionary 2D Visual Designer to craft the visual language of our next generation of digital experiences. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-fidelity 2D assets, illustrations, and UI components that drive user engagement. You will be responsible for maintaining design consistency across our product suite while pushing creative boundaries to ensure our brand stands out in a crowded market.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design high-quality 2D illustrations, icons, and UI assets for web and mobile applications.
- Create and optimize vector graphics (SVG) to ensure scalability and performance across all devices.
- Develop motion graphics and animated sequences to enhance user interfaces and storytelling.
- Maintain and evolve the company's centralized design system and visual style guide.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform visual decisions and improve the overall user experience.
- Present design concepts and iterate based on feedback from product managers and engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 2D Visual Designer or Graphic Designer (minimum 3-5 years in a professional setting).
- Exceptional proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and Figma.
- A strong, diverse portfolio demonstrating a range of 2D styles, from flat design to isometric or textured illustrations.
- Deep understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design rationale to non-design stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
