Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical frameworks for AI product development lifecycle
- Lead bias audits and fairness assessments across machine learning models
- Develop governance protocols for autonomous systems and generative AI
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into code
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging AI risks and mitigation strategies
- Advocate for ethical AI standards in industry forums and regulatory discussions
- Mentor cross-functional teams on ethical technology implementation
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Philosophy, Ethics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI ethics, responsible AI, or technology policy
- Expertise in bias detection/mitigation techniques for ML models
- Published research in AI ethics or philosophy of technology
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF)
- Proficiency in Python and ML model auditing tools
- Exceptional written communication for technical and non-technical audiences
