Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder analysis.
- Translate complex business needs into functional technical specifications, user stories, and process maps.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and Functional Specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, Product Management, Operations) to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current processes and desired future states.
- Utilize SQL and data analysis tools to extract insights and support decision-making processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert on business processes and advocate for process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is highly preferred.
