Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather and document detailed business requirements and user stories.
- Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Documentation: Create high-quality functional specifications, process maps (using Visio or Lucidchart), and system requirements documentation.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT development teams to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Agile Support: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to support the delivery of software solutions.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to support business cases and track project KPIs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3-5+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP), and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
