Responsibilities
- Requirements Analysis: Conduct thorough interviews and workshops with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for software development and process improvement projects.
- Process Mapping: Create comprehensive process maps, flowcharts, and use cases using tools like Visio or Lucidchart to visualize current and future states.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and test plans.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, ensuring clear communication and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and verify that delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or financial environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical thinking skills with a proven track record of delivering solutions to complex business problems.
