Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct comprehensive interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business needs and requirements.
- Process Modeling: Create detailed process maps, use cases, and user stories using UML and BPMN to visualize system flows and business processes.
- Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage expectations of all project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including functional specifications, technical requirements, and test plans.
- Agile Support: Act as a Product Owner or Agile Coach facilitator in Scrum and Kanban ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and Excel for advanced data analysis. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar Agile tools is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Tools: Familiarity with BPMN tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, Jama).
