Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct in-depth interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, document, and analyze business requirements for weekend operational projects.
- Data Analysis: Extract, transform, and analyze complex data sets using SQL and visualization tools to identify trends, opportunities, and process bottlenecks.
- Reporting & BI: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive business intelligence dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives and facilitate the transition from current state to future state workflows.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, process maps, and technical documentation to guide development teams.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Tech or Finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SQL (querying and optimization) and advanced Excel. Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker) is required.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work a consistent weekend schedule (e.g., Friday–Monday or Saturday–Sunday).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Agile: Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA.
