What You Will Do:
• Strategic Vision: Own the 2026 technical roadmap, identifying emerging technologies like Quantum Readiness and Advanced AI integration.
• Team Leadership: Cultivate a culture of innovation, mentoring senior engineers and fostering professional growth.
• System Architecture: Design resilient, high-performance microservices that can scale exponentially.
• Technical Debt Management: Lead initiatives to modernize legacy systems in preparation for the 2026 transition.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Design leaders to translate 2026 user needs into technical reality.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure our platform delivers sub-millisecond latency globally.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the 2026 strategic technical roadmap in alignment with company goals.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing engineering team of 20+ developers.
- Architect and oversee the deployment of next-generation cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- Drive innovation in AI/ML integration into core product features.
- Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
- Manage the budget for engineering tools, cloud resources, and vendor partnerships.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level capacity.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable products for high-volume markets.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and integrating intelligent automation into workflows.
- Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for executive stakeholders.
