Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research initiatives in quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate-tech integration
- Collaborate with C-suite to prioritize R&D investments in emerging domains
- Present strategic blueprints to investors, partners, and industry forums
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record in launching future-focused products (e.g., quantum applications, AI systems)
- Expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Strong network in Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Certification in Futures Studies or Technology Foresight preferred
- Experience securing >$50M in R&D funding
- Published thought leadership in tech journals
