Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology strategy roadmap with 18-month horizons
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-forward solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to executive leadership
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies across business units
- Maintain a technology ecosystem database with market adoption forecasts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in forecasting tech trends (minimum 3 major predictions implemented)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Strategy
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through tech transformation
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Published thought leadership in technology strategy or innovation
