Responsibilities
- Architect and execute R&D strategies for emerging technologies with 5-10 year implementation horizons
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen solutions in quantum AI and biotech convergence
- Develop partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators for technology scouting
- Create innovation roadmaps aligned with market trends and regulatory landscapes for 2026+
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $5M annually
- Mentor junior innovators through our Future Leaders program
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology R&D with 3+ years in strategic innovation leadership
- Proven track record in launching at least two breakthrough technologies
- Deep expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech systems
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants and venture funding
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
