- Translate technical capabilities into market-ready business models and go-to-market strategies
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and investors with data-driven recommendations
- Manage R&D budget allocation for experimental technology incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting methodologies and scenario planning
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on disruptive innovation
- Experience securing $10M+ in government or private innovation grants
- Proficiency in technology assessment frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Delphi Method)
