Responsibilities

- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and business teams
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercial potential
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and market readiness
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications for industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale startups
- Proven track record launching products using emerging technologies (quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Published author in IEEE or Nature journals on future tech topics
- Experience leading teams with PhD-level technical experts
- Strong understanding of ethical tech governance frameworks
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Go)
