Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Identify, assess, and prototype emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs and frameworks for measuring technology adoption ROI
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of startups, researchers, and industry pioneers
- Drive thought leadership through whitepapers, patents, and industry conference participation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech experience preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy journals
- Experience managing $5M+ innovation budgets and cross-functional teams
