Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, AR/VR) to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market entry
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligning with company's 5-year strategic vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to foster innovation and prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic technology recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory landscapes affecting emerging sectors
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions, startups, and R&D consortia
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal and economic impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech innovation roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends and implementing future-ready solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, neurotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical concepts
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies highly desirable
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem
