Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, bio-integrated systems) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and regulatory landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Analyze competitive tech landscapes and patent landscapes for strategic positioning
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage R&D budgets and vendor partnerships for emerging tech adoption
- Foster internal innovation through hackathons and future-tech incubators
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech adoption roles
- Proven track record in commercializing at least 2 emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech, or neuro-interfaces
- Exceptional data modeling and forecasting skills using advanced analytics tools
- Experience presenting complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or industry whitepapers
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, INSEAD)
