Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Present strategic technology insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and manage partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-tech methodologies and analytical frameworks
- Author thought leadership publications and industry conference presentations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record in emerging tech adoption (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, or sustainable tech)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Exceptional communication abilities for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in technology management or innovation strategy (e.g., CTO Academy, INSEAD)
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains preferred
- Experience scaling technology initiatives from concept to commercial deployment
