Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching, evaluating, and integrating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech interfaces) into product roadmaps
- Develop strategic frameworks for technology adoption, anticipating market shifts and regulatory landscapes through 2026
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and government agencies to co-invent next-gen solutions
- Present visionary technology blueprints to executive stakeholders and investors with compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish innovation KPIs and track technology maturity curves to ensure competitive advantage
- Mentor R&D teams in future-proofing architectures and identifying disruptive opportunities
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership pieces positioning Nexus as a 2026 technology authority
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record of launching at least two disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in emerging tech domains: quantum computing, generative AI, neurotech, or climate tech
- MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies preferred
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to map complex tech ecosystems and predict convergence points
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing cross-continental R&D teams
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech journals or conference speaker at CES, Web Summit, or similar
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management (e.g., from Wharton or Singularity University)
