Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps targeting 2026 innovation milestones
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption potential
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology priorities
- Analyze competitive landscapes and patent landscapes for strategic positioning
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven experience developing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in trend forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
- Experience managing innovation budgets and project portfolios
- Certification in technology management or foresight methodologies preferred
